| The Architect of the Veil. |
Saranya is an Altmer from Summerset Isles. She was born in exceptionally auspicious condition that granted her an incredible amounted of Magicka. It was actually so huge that it exhausted her little body and so she needed be constantly drained her Magicka by an amulet to live normally. She went to Alinor to study the Arcane Arts in hope of becoming able to harness her potential but her natural dangerosity caused other students to fear her somehow. She did manage to make a friend, Arkved, but they once had an accident that wounded both of them during a training session. Saranya felt extremely guilty and it didn’t take long before she decided to live in seclusion —quite a mage’s lifestyle anyway.
As she was confronted with herself she tried to make something out of all this Magicka she had. She tried to experiment but had no real goal but the strong hope that the world could become as perfect as everything she could dream of. Saranya spent more and more time thinking and day-dreaming and the world around her started to change until she realized she was starting to confuse dream and reality. Yet, something was strange. Her dream felt too real and so the experiments did start at last.
When Arkved caught up with her in the early 4th Era, to make sure she wasn’t in trouble with the Thalmor, it appeared that Saranya had claimed a piece of Vaermina’s realm and had fashioned herself a Princess. Arkved convinced her to join the Veil for security. There Saranya could be tempered and when the organization gained lands in Oblivion, she became the realm’s architect, giving it its shape.
Arkved is quite concerned about what may become of her in the future as she seems to be becoming one with the realm.
