|When you meet Sakin you realize that Nords and Dark Elves aren't so different…
Sakin is a Dunmer from the Ashlands of Vvardenfell. His complete name is Sakin Odinsar-Tibashipal, and to adress him properly it would be correct to call him Sera Urshilaku Sakin Odinsar-Tibashipal. But "Sakin" is shorter. He was accidentally born from the union of his Ashlander father and a Nord sailor woman but rather look like a Dunmer though a bit taller than most. He is an accomplished smith and his dreams of crafting Daedric armors took him on a memorable journey recorded in his diaries. Sakin has absolutely no sense of orientation to the point some wonder if there's some sort of curse upon him. This handicap caused him to get lost in the Ashlands for some decades. As he was forced to shelter in a Dwemer ruin to escape from Ash Creatures he learned to live in this dangerous place and started to study the centurions. He managed to make some discoveries that allowed him to disable the machines or fix them and turn off their aggressivity.
Unfortunately, when Sakin was finally able to leave the Dwemer ruin with some centurions to defend himself he got lost again and ended in the ancient 6th House stronghold of Kogoruhn, from which he was unable to find an escape. Luckily enough he was protected by a cultist who (after some years) showed him an exit way to the Red Mountain. Sakin could leave and things started to get better despite some more unwanted adventures. After some time spent in traveling and smithing, Sakin decided to head up for Skyrim to visit the Dwemer ruins over there. He ended in Cyrodiil and it was there that the Veil managed to contact him.
Sakin has the blunt mind of a Nord and looks like the typical Dunmer adventurer. He doesn't have a lot of education beyond his Ashlander culture, but he is clever nonetheless. He just expresses himself better with a hammer and tongs than with words. He is better at smithing weapons than wielding them but is still a decent fighter. He is a great pyromancer but his spells are more designed for smithing than fighting.
He is good-nature and aside his passion for Dwemer "things" he likes the simple pleasures of life. He is also claustrophobic since his experience in Kogoruhn and his greatest fear would be a room with no kind of door or window.
Sakin is the author of several books:
- Sakin the Smith (5-tome series)
