Thank you all for your interest in this modding project, as well as your patience as Isaac and I have worked on its development. As of now, we have compiled a list of proposed features, as well as a Features page on the wiki that presents unique aspects of the mod to draw potential new players in. We are also working on filling in other pages with our ideas. These features have been posted in the below forum post. Please feel free to use the forums to discuss proposed features, ask questions, or propose new ideas.
Now that we have the general concept and features in our heads, we are working on developing storylines and characters. After we decide on the characters, we will write lines for the voice-actors. Once we have written the background, we will post dossiers on each character that needs a voice-actor. The dossiers will contain the character's story and personality. Voice actors will be able to choose whom they want to voice, though we might ask you to voice a specific one if we think you have a voice suited to the character. We will seek to work with you on further fleshing out the character, to allow you the chance to get in the character's head. You do not have to participate in character development if you do not want to, but we will provide you the opportunity.
We will also post a list of tasks that we need help with that are not related to story and character development. At some points we may need help with technical issues, as well as scripting or gameplay design. When we need help in these areas, we will send out a newsletter with a request for someone's aid.
Soon, when we have something we can present to potential developers, I am going to post in online forums about this project to recruit voice-actors, level designers, scripters, writers, and 3d artists. We will work with whatever resources we have available, but the more people we have on the team, the more we can do.
Thank you all for your patience. We look forward to collaborating with you throughout the winter on this project.
